null when nothing could be decoded (after reporting why through the context).ISO 32000-2 §7.4.8 and §8.9.3. The image reports its ColorModel (Gray, RGB or CMYK by component count), the APP14 AdobeTransform and whether a colour transform was applied. With Reduction 1 to 3 (more is read as 3) it is decoded at 1/2, 1/4 or 1/8 (Reduction).
