Returns the view of a function object of this document.

public PdfFunction? GetFunction(CosObject function)

Parameters

function
CosObject

A function dictionary or stream, or an indirect reference to one.

Returns

PdfFunction
The view, shared by every caller asking for the same object; null, with a diagnostic, when function is not a dictionary or stream with a FunctionType of 0, 2, 3 or 4. A function of a known type that cannot be used is returned with IsValid false.

Remarks

ISO 32000-2 §7.10. The function is compiled once, here, and again only when an object it was compiled from changes. Deviations are recorded on Diagnostics against function when it is a reference.
