Returns the resolved model of a pattern of this document.

public PdfPattern? GetPattern(CosObject pattern)

Parameters

pattern
CosObject

A pattern dictionary or stream, or an indirect reference to one, such as a value of a resource dictionary's Pattern subdictionary.

Returns

PdfPattern
The model, shared by every caller asking for the same object until it changes or an object is added or removed (which can change what a reference in it resolves to, §7.3.10); null, with a diagnostic, when the object is not a pattern of Type 1 or 2. A pattern that cannot be painted is returned with IsValid false.

Remarks

ISO 32000-2 §8.7.1. Deviations are recorded on Diagnostics when the pattern is read, and again when it is read again.
