A file specification: a reference from the document to another file, external or embedded, in string or dictionary form. A live view over its COS object.
public sealed class PdfFileSpecification
ISO 32000-2 §7.11 (PDF 1.1). §7.11.2: a file specification string divides into components separated by /; a component's
literal solidus is written \/ (the PDF string (in\\/out)); a leading / makes it absolute, otherwise it is
relative to the containing file, and .. moves up a level. §7.11.3, Table 43: the dictionary form adds the file system
(FS), per-platform names, the file identifier, the volatile flag, embedded files (EF), related files (RF), a
description, a collection item, a thumbnail, an encrypted payload and the associated-file relationship.
Name preference (Table 43 says a reader shall use UF instead of F): UF, then F, then the deprecated
Unix, Mac and DOS. The embedded file stream is chosen from EF in the same key order.
File names are untrusted: they may hold .., absolute paths, backslashes, NUL or reserved device names. The library never
combines them with a file-system path; SafeFileName gives a sanitised last component for callers that do.
kind:method, kind:property, kind:ctor. Press Esc to clear.CollectionItemGets the collection item (CI) that supplies this file's values in a portable collection, or null.DescriptionGets the description of the file (Desc), or null.DictionaryGets the file specification dictionary, or null for the string form.EmbeddedFileGets the embedded file stream (EF, by key preference UF, F, Unix, Mac, DOS), or null.EncryptedPayloadGets the encrypted payload dictionary (EP), or null. Exposed as is; the payload is not unwrapped.FileIdentifierGets the file identifier of the referenced file (ID, two byte strings), or null.FileNameGets the file specification string, decoded as text, or null when the dictionary names no file.FileNameStringGets the raw string the file name comes from: the string form itself, else UF, F, Unix, Mac or DOS.FileSystemGets the file system the specification is interpreted by (FS), or null.IsAbsoluteGets a value indicating whether FileName is an absolute specification (it begins with /).IsUrlGets a value indicating whether the file system is URL: the file name is a uniform resource locator (RFC 3986).IsVolatileGets a value indicating whether the file is volatile and shall not be cached (V). Default false.PathComponentsGets the components of FileName: split at each /, with an escaped solidus (\/) kept inside its component and the escape removed. A leading / gives no empty first component; .. components are kept as written.ReferenceGets the indirect reference the specification was reached through, or null when it is direct.RelatedFilesGets the related files of the embedded file (RF, the array under the same key EmbeddedFile comes from).RelationshipGets the relationship of the associated file to the object that refers to it (AFRelationship).RelationshipNameGets the AFRelationship name as written, or Unspecified when absent.SafeFileNameGets the last component of FileName, made safe to use as a file name on any platform, or null when nothing usable is left. Backslashes and drive prefixes count as separators; characters no platform allows (NUL, control characters, / \ : * ? " < > |) become _; trailing dots and spaces are removed; a reserved device name (CON, NUL, COM1, ...) is prefixed with _; . and .. give null.ThumbnailGets the thumbnail image of the file (Thumb), or null.ValueGets the file specification as stored: a CosString or a CosDictionary.
