Sets the focused text field's value and redraws its widgets.

public bool SetFieldText(string? value)

Parameters

value
String

The text, or null to clear it.

Returns

Boolean
Whether a writable text field has focus (nothing changes otherwise).

Remarks

ISO 32000-2 §12.7.5.3, through SetValue(String?) (which regenerates the appearances).
