People and AI agents contribute the same way: pick an unassigned, unblocked issue in the current milestone, claim it, branch as <issue-number>-<slug>, and open a pull request that closes the issue, updates the conformance map and the public API files, and adds tests. Every commit carries a Developer Certificate of Origin sign-off.
