BeginRender(DisplayList, Bitmap, in Matrix, CancellationToken, IProgress?) Method

Definition

Assembly Broadside.Rendering.dll

Starts drawing list over the current pixels of target, without a background, in time slices: each Continue(TimeSpan) draws until its budget is used.

public ProgressiveRender BeginRender(DisplayList list, Bitmap target, in Matrix deviceTransform, CancellationToken cancellationToken, IProgress<double>? progress)

Parameters

list
DisplayList

The display list.

target
Bitmap

The bitmap; drawing is clipped to it.

deviceTransform
Matrix

The transform from the list's default user space to the bitmap's pixels, as for Render(DisplayList, Bitmap, in Matrix).

cancellationToken
CancellationToken

Cancels the render before its next operation.

progress
IProgress<Double>

Receives the share of the list's operations drawn so far, from 0 to 1 (see BeginReplay(IRenderingBackend, CancellationToken, IProgress<Double>?)), or null.

Returns

ProgressiveRender
The render, with nothing drawn yet. Continue it to the end, or dispose it.

Remarks

Viewer capability 2 (issue #97). Continued to the end, it draws exactly what Render(DisplayList, Bitmap, in Matrix) draws.
